Nestled at the foot of the Cullerin Range at Lake George, Lerida Estate is dedicated to crafting distinctive, world-class wines that capture the essence of their unique and beautiful site. This is achieved through a combination of cutting-edge vineyard management, meticulous winemaking, the estate’s magnificent cool-climate location, and their striking Glenn Murcutt-designed winery.
Behind the wine is Jacob Law, our Head Winemaker — a guy who went to Germany to learn the language and came home speaking fluent wine instead. He’s vineyard-hopped through Europe, the US and Australia, and reckons Lerida’s lakeside site is unlike anywhere else he’s worked. Minimal intervention, wild yeast, patience — the wine gets to speak for the place, not the other way around.
This isn’t a winery chasing trends. It’s a site with real weather, real risk, and real character — from a region that’s been quietly outperforming its size for fifty years — and wine that tastes like it actually came from somewhere, rather than everywhere.
