Stage Door

Stage Door Wine Co has been the result of a long work-in-progress. A privately owned South Australian wine business, founded in 2013 by Graeme Thredgold, whose long history in both music and the brewing and wine industries inspired this range. SDWCo takes the passion and flair of the music and wine industries, and combines them to produce a range of premium wines with individual expression of place and time.

Phil Lehmann youngest son of the late, great Peter Lehmann, makes the wines for SDWCo just down the road at Moppa Vintners. With an upbringing steeped in Barossa wine, Phil ventured out gaining a wealth of experience making wine all over the world before coming back his iconic home turf. Phil is passionate about making great wine while respecting the land, achieving the right balance with attention to sustainability and climate.

The fruit for Stage Door Wine Co. is sourced predominantly from the family-owned vineyard in the Eden Valley, established in 1996 with plantings of Riesling, Shiraz, and Cabernet Sauvignon.
